Alejandro Salmón | Co-Founder

Alejandro has over three decades of experience in technology management, innovation, and intangible assets. He began his career in academic research at the Institute of Chemistry of UNAM, where he developed a strong foundation in scientific and technical documentation.

He later designed and led large-scale documentary management frameworks for technology-driven projects, overseeing thousands of initiatives related to innovation, complia|nce, and intellectual property. His expertise lies in the identification, documentation, registration, and valuation of intangible assets across multiple industries.

Alejandro brings a multidisciplinary perspective to Thinkworks, combining technical rigor, entrepreneurial experience, and a deep understanding of how documentation creates strategic and economic value.

Mario Sotelo | Co-Founder

Mario is a finance professional with a background in business, economics, and data science. He has extensive experience in financial analysis, valuation, risk management, and capital structuring, particularly in complex and high-pressure environments.

He has worked on company valuations, portfolio management, foreign exchange strategies, and M&A processes, contributing to significant value creation and growth initiatives. As co-founder of Thinkworks and AEON Consulting, Mario leads strategic direction, valuation processes, and financial decision support.

Mario is known for his analytical mindset, quantitative depth, and ability to identify opportunities where others see complexity.

Juan Carlos | Director of Compliance

Juan Carlos specializes in compliance, documentary management, and investment analysis. He holds a degree in Economics and has been involved in the structuring and evaluation of investment projects across multiple sectors.

He leads documentary compliance initiatives focused on fiscal and regulatory requirements, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and alignment between documentation and financial reality. At Thinkworks, he is responsible for designing and overseeing the firm’s compliance frameworks and documentation processes.
